Bring the family and experience a day full of fun!  Watch the parade and the famous rubber duck race.  And what better way to spend a beautiful summer evening than listening to music outdoors, followed by the magic of a fireworks display.  The Old Home Day Celebration & Parade for the Towns of Franconia, Sugar Hill, and Easton is a long standing tradition that you won't want to miss.  

There will be events throughout the day:

 8:00 AM  Franconia Scramble (5 K race)
                 Starts at the Farmhouse Restaurant
                 Ends at the Dow Field

                   11:30 AM - 1:00 PM    Fire Department BBQ

                  1:30 - 2:30 PM    PARADE along Main Street
                                              from Agassiz Rd. to Lafayette School
                      DUCK RACE on the Gale River immediately following

                  5:00 - 9:00 PM    SWEET JAM concert at the Gazebo on the Dow Field
                                             A swing band with a patriotic theme

                  9:15 PM        FIREWORKS

Tickets for the race may be obtained by contacting a member of the Lafayette Lions Club or from Bob's Mobil Service Center. If you are unable to participate in the parade, a donation would be most appreciated. Thank you for your support.
