 The Maplewood was established in the late 1800's as a resort hotel for New Englanders. In 1914 a Donald Ross designed golf course was added to improve the resorts offerings and provide the hotel guests with the best golf course possible. Today, in its wonderfully unique location, The Maplewood offers special special functions (think wedding receptions), special daily golf and memberships on the original 18 hole Donald Ross Championship Golf Course, 20 guest suites in our Inn and delicious food in our grill room.  The Jack O'Lantern Resort offers an exciting get away for families and groups alike! Our 18-hole 6003 yard, par 70(men) 71(ladies) layout is a beautifully designed and maintained golf course set along the banks of the Pemigewasset River. For the avid golfer, we offer one guaranteed tee-time per day on unlimited golf packages.  The Profile Club Golf Course opened in 1898 and is New Hampshire's oldest private golf course. Designed by A. H. Fenn, The 9-hole "Profile" course features 5,728 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 67.5, with a slope rating of 116. This heritage White Mountain course welcomes public play in the spring from May 1 - June 14 and in the fall from September 13 - October 26. Tee times are not required; first come, first served. 9-hole play is $15 on weekdays; $20 on week ends; cart fee: $8. Play 18 holes for $20 weekdays and $25 on weekends; cart fee $14. Spring or Fall season passes are available for $150. The practice range is available for an additional fee of $30. A combo Spring/Fall season pass is available for $250; and additional fee of $45 allows total acccess to the practice range. Call for complete details.

 One of the oldest links golf courses in New Hampshire, this 9 hole golf course offers a unique and grand 360 degree vista of Canada, Mount Washington, the Presidential Range and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Full club house amenities and the course are across from the Sunset Hill House Grand Inn. Directions: Exit 38 off I-93. Turn right at the blinking lights on Main St., Franconia. Turn left to Route 117. At the top of the hill, turn left on to Sunset Hill Road.
