"Big Kids Week" for NH Residents at Mt. Washington Cog Railway

The Mount Washington Cog Railway, the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway, is offering special reduced fares for all New Hampshire
residents. From February 22 thru March 1, big kids and small will all enjoy a one-hour scenic ride to mid-mountain Waumbek Station at the normal children’s fare of $38. For adults, that amounts to a $14 discount over regular winter rates.

At Waumbek Station, guests relax in comfortable warming huts and enjoy hot cocoa and marshmallows toasted over an open campfire at about 4,000 feet, creating a memorable winter experience for the whole family.

To take advantage of this offer, New Hampshire residents simply need to present a valid NH photo ID upon arrival at the Cog Railway base station. When booking online in advance, use the promo code “NHvacation” at checkout. NH IDs are required
