The event will be led by Martha “Martie” Cook, a Master Gardener.
Participants should wear clothes that can get dirty. Edible and ornamental plants can combine to bring beneficial bees and butterflies to gardens, as well as provide food. Together, participants will design some container/small space gardens, and start seeds to grow at home and transplant outdoors in the spring. All materials will be provided, as well as plant lists to guide participants during their spring planting.
About the Presenter
Martha “Martie” Cook was a gardener from childhood growing veggies and flowers for sale at a roadside stand.
