Shreddy Betty: Women's Day

You are a Shreddy Betty, and you are here to slay. Cannon Mountain and Blizzard Tecnica bring you a legendary day on the slopes created by women for women. Blizzard will be on snow with their fleet of rock-solid Women’s skis to demo. Join women’s specific camps hosted by Cannon Mountain Snowsports. Start the day with the first ever Sunrise Shred, an all-women’s sunrise tour. Hop into Cannon Parks and learn what takes to build and maintain a park, learn new skills and throw down in a friendly competition. End the day with après drink specials in the Cannonball Pub.

Shreddy Betty Camp

Spend the day with like-minded ladies, who love to shred just as much as you do. We will be offering 3 different levels. Each group will be led by a female Snowsports instructor who will not only show you around Cannon but help you level up your skiing. Snowboarders are welcome but due to the limited number of snowboard instructors these groups will be led by skiers.

3 levels
Mild- parallel skier, comfortable on green and blues
Medium – comfortable on blues and blacks in most condition types
Spicy- can ski anywhere in any condition

Sunrise Shred

Experience Cannon at sunrise, with the first ever Sunrise Shred. Guided by Blizzard Athletes Hilary McCloy and Meg Pierce, this all-women’s group will depart the Peabody base area at 6am sharp to skin up Cannon at sunrise. Beat the crowds and lock in first tracks. All participants must have their own equipment, a headlamp, and be comfortable skiing blues and blacks in any and all conditions. *

Betty Build N’ Jam

Spend your day with a group of like-minded ladies who are out here to have a good time. First, you will learn what it takes to build and maintain a park lead by our very own Park Crew member Mimi. After lunch you will have time to practice on your feature of choice, get pointers from our coaches and get comfortable before showing off your new skills in a little friendly competition.

Schedule
Registration: 8am – 10am in the Fireplace Lounge at Notchview Lodge. Registration is FREE and includes the exclusive Shreddy Betty Beanie.
Limit 30 Participants
On Snow: 10:15am meet outside the Fireplace Lounge, head up Eaglecliff Chair to Parkway.
Morning Build: 10:30am – 12pm Split into three groups, mild, medium and spicy, to work on the feature of your choosing.
Mild: the newcomers to park, or those looking to have a chill day on an easier feature.
Medium: has some park experience but would like to level up their skills
Spicy: for the saucy ladies looking for a challenge.
Break for Lunch: 12pm-1pm Meet in the Fireplace Lounge (lunch is not provided)
Practice Session: 1pm-2pm Practice on the features you just finished building. Coaches will help you improve your skill.
Jam it out: 2pm-3:30pm Time to show off your new skills. A little friendly competition to win prizes from our sponsors!
Awards: 4pm in the Fireplace Lounge

Rules:
All Ages are welcome!
18 years or younger needs to have a parent or guardian to sign liability waivers.
Must be able to load the lift alone and ski or ride independently.
Helmets are required.
Valid lift ticket or season pass required.
