The StageSetters Youth Program is NCCA’s newly envisioned education program for ages 8 to 18 that combines a theatrical rehearsal process with arts education. We hire a professional staff to put on the show, as well as special Master Class instructors within the industry. Students get to be part of a show and experience the process, while also learning skills that apply to the arts in general.
Upcoming Show: Beware The Jabberwock. Two children are lost in Tulgey Wood, a mysterious forest full of weird and wonderful creatures. Trying to find their way home, they encounter odd creatures, stern warngins, and hapless knight, before coming face to face with the awesome Jabberwock! Suggested by the poem “Jabberwocky,” the play is set in the fantasy world of Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland stories.
