Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Celebrate our independence from Mother Nature, thanks to NH’s most powerful snowmaking system and our hard-working snowmakers.

Face Painting – From 4:30–7:00PM at the Governor Adams Lodge.

Snowcat Rides – Get a Taste of Being a Groomer. Ever wonder what it feels like to be in the cab of a snowcat? Here’s your chance. Snowcats of all different sizes will be on hand, and can fit up to 2 (maybe 3) people per ride. Loon team members will be there to assist you. Snowcat rides start at 4:30PM. Available to the first 300 people in line. Snowcat rides are free. Donations to the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund are accepted.

Torchlight Parade & Fireworks – Watch a team of skiers and snowboarders glide down and light up the slopes. Be on the lookout for the bright bird on the mountain, too. The parade starts at 6:45PM, and immediately following the parade will be a grand finale of fireworks.
